Amity Metals Intl. LLC, Charlotte, N.C. has announced that Charles N. Myers will be joining the company as a trader. Myers owned and operated Myers Brothers Inc. scrap facilities in Greensboro, N.C., prior to selling his company in 2001.
Myers is expected to use his more than 35 years of experience in processing and marketing scrap metals to help expand Amity’s business brokering nonferrous and stainless scrap.
In particular, he will assist dealers with his extensive knowledge of processing and sales, according to Brian Imbrey of Amity Metals. Myers will work from an office in Greensboro, according to an Amity Metals news release.
