American Zinc Recycling LLC, Pittsburgh, has appointed William Breedlove as its senior vice president and chief commercial officer, effective May 18. In the new position, Breedlove is responsible for all aspects of sales for American Zinc Recycling LLC and its subsidiaries, the company reports in a news release on his appointment. He will report to Wayne Isaacs, American Zinc Recycling president and CEO.
Prior to joining the company, Breedlove owned a metals and mining consulting firm, Breedlove Consulting Services LLC, for five years. American Zinc Recycling reports that he has more than 30 years of experience in metals and mining services, serving a wide range of business functions, including CEO, president, general management, operations management and sales management. Before running a consulting firm, he also served as president at Somerset Coal International Inc., a coal recovery and enhancement business, where he helped to launch the company. He also served as CEO of Quality Magnetite LLC, a magnetite ore processing and distribution company that services the energy industry.
“Breedlove is a strategic addition to our management team, bringing extensive experience and credentials,” Isaacs says. “We look forward to leveraging his expertise and keen leadership as we continue to grow our position as the leading hazardous waste recycler.”
“I’m delighted to bring my background to AZR, a company with a long history and a bright future in the steel industry,” Breedlove says. “AZR has incredible momentum, especially given the recent restart of production at its updated facility in Rutherford County, North Carolina, and I look forward to playing a pivotal part in guiding its growth.”
