American Pulverizer Co. introduces their new 60x85 heavy-duty Hammermill for processing automobiles, appliances and miscellaneous scrap materials.
The machine features a 3-piece replaceable anvil, a fully capped spider rotor, reject door and several other design features that allow for higher production rates and less maintenance cost.
The company has one of the hammermills in operation, as well as an order for a second machine. The equipment is designed for company’s capable of processing between 2,000-3,000 tons per month of ferrous and nonferrous metals.
The machines are powered by either a 1,500 or 2,000 HP main drive motor, and come complete with infeed and downstream systems for recycling all of the ferrous and non-ferrous materials including magnetic and eddy current separation plants.
