American Pulverizer Co., St. Louis, has completed what it calls Phase II of its expansion program.
In a news release, the company says a 40,000-square-foot machine shop addition became operational in late 2008 and two new CNC machine tools have been added “to expedite both machine and spare parts orders.” The company’s goal is to service customers more effectively and efficiently, according to the release.
Crane capacity has also increased two-fold to handle larger housings and rotors in the new space, which has a ceiling height of 32 feet.
The company is currently moving its existing CNC machine tools from the old machine shop to the new location.
Phase I of the company expansion was completed in June of 2007 with the completion of a 17,500-square-foot two-story office renovation.
