“Last year when we celebrated 60 years in the business, we added a tag line that noted our accomplishment,” David Kowaleski, American Baler general manager, says. “However, at this time, we wanted to say more.” The new design reflects American Baler’s commitment to the industry, according to National Sales Manager Roger Williams. “With many new emerging markets, we felt that it was important to let potential customers know that they were dealing with a company that has been in the business for a long time,” he says. “It also says that we understand the business and have an excellent track record.” Williams says the company also wanted the logo to reflect the worldwide nature of American Baler’s business. The designers were supplied with this information and told that there was already a “a great deal of equity” in the American Baler logo, according to a press release from the company. “We wanted them to put all this together in a neat package without sacrificing the brand,” Kowaleski says. “We feel that they have captured the essence of yesterday, today and tomorrow.” American Baler manufactures a full line of manual and auto-tie balers with capacities ranging from 2 to 50 tons per hour.
