Ameri-Shred Corp., Alpena, Mich., has added two new models to its e-scrap shredder line.
The AMS-100HD and the AMS-150HD models join the Ameri-Shred e-scrap shredder line. Like the flagship AMS-500HD and its counterparts, the AMS-100 and AMS-150 deliver the same value, according to Ameri-Shred, though in a smaller package.
Key features include a low-speed/high-torque design, quiet operation, ease of use, durable casters and a compact size to easily maneuver through office doors, the company says. The one-horsepower, 115-volt, single-phase model plugs into a standard wall outlet. Several options are available and include a viewing widow, storage compartment and a choice of paint colors.
Cheryl Skomra, president and owner of Michigan Mobile Hard Drive Shredding, Highland, Mich., says, “Our AMS-150HD hard drive shredder is easily transported to securely shred at customer’s sites—assuring the customer’s chain of possession is not broken through the e-destruction cycle.” She adds, “The Ameri-Shred AMS-150HD is ideal for our requirements and those of our customers; it is rugged to meet day-in-day-out reliability needs, fits the throughput requirements and has a high level of safety features.”
