Ameri-Shred Corp. Introduces Bypass Conveyor

Conveyor allows shredded documents to be transported from a mobile shred truck directly to a baler.

Ameri-Shred Corp., Alpena, Mich., has introduced a new bypass conveyor that is designed to transfer shredded documents from a mobile shred truck directly to a baler, eliminating the need to run previously shredded material through your shredder a second time.

Realizing that specific customer demand may require re-shredding of material, the company’s bypass conveyor gives information destruction professionals that choice, according to Ameri-Shred. The retractable tail pulley allows the operator to feed a shredder or send the material directly to a baler.

 

According to Ameri-Shred, the bypass conveyor eliminates the need for two pit conveyors or an auxiliary baler feed conveyor. Custom conveyor lengths and designs are available, and the conveyor has minimal building requirements.

 

By avoiding re-shredding using the bypass conveyor, information destruction operations can save wear and tear on costly shredding equipment as well as save time and energy consumption.
