Craig P. Eddy, president and CEO of Coastal Aluminum Rolling Mills Inc., Williamsport, Pa., has started his term as the new chairman of the Aluminum Association, Washington.
Eddy takes over for Alcan Inc. executive vice president Brian Sturgell, who completed his two-year term as the association’s chairman.
He has been with Coastal Aluminum for many years and has been president of the company since 1992. Coastal Aluminum specializes in rolling aluminum foil and in coating metal products used in aerospace, automotive, packaging, window treatment and other markets.
Eddy has been active in Aluminum Association matters since 1991, and recently led an association delegation to China that participated in the China 2003 Aluminum Forum in Beijing in December of last year. While there, Eddy helped the Aluminum Association forge a cooperative partnership with the China Nonferrous Metals Industry Association.
