Alter Trading Corp., St. Louis, has hired Andrea Juhala, a veteran of the nonferrous scrap industry, as a metals trader.
Juhala, who will be based in Fort Collins, Colo., will focus on market development and trading in various geographic regions worldwide, according to the company.
“Andrea’s broad-based experience, skills and knowledge will serve to expand our scope and capabilities, especially given Alter’s increasing activities in the nonferrous business both in the United States and internationally,” says Robert Stein, Alter’s senior vice president - nonferrous marketing and trading.
Alter Trading Corp. is a fourth-generation company. The company operates 37 metal recycling facilities and five trading offices in eight states as well as a sales office in Hong Kong.
