Alpine Waste & Recycling, a Denver-based recycling company, is offering to pay for the cost of its Altogether Recycling service to any Denver-area hotel that opens an Altogether Recycling account and sends 30 percent or more of its waste stream to recycling or composting within a given month.
The program, due to kick off during the Democratic National Convention in August, will credit hotels for one month’s worth of free Altogether Recycling service for each month that is over 30 percent through Dec. 31, 2008.
”The hotel industry will attract a huge amount of attention during the DNC and we want to help put those hotels in the ‘greenest’ light possible,” says Grant Parsons, Alpine sales manager.
Hotels that wish to participate in Alpine’s program can contact Parsons at 303-744-9881.
