John Griffith, president of Alpine Waste & Recycling in Commerce City, Colo., is a finalist for the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of The Year 2010 Award in the Rocky Mountain region.
The award recognizes entrepreneurs who demonstrate extraordinary success in the areas of innovation, financial performance and community involvement.
Griffith was a consecutive-year nominee for ColoradoBiz Magazine’s “CEO of the Year” award in 2007 and 2008.
Griffith is one of 18 finalists for the Entrepreneur of the Year Award. and Ernst & Young will name six winners at its event June 24.
