All Recycling, Englewood, Colo., is in the process of investing an estimated $7 million in upgrades to its auto shredding plant and downstream system.
All Recycling was started by Craig Uhrig and his brother Scot in 1992. The company operates a Riverside Engineering M104 plant at its shredder yard, which straddles the border of Englewood and Denver.
According to Craig Uhrig, personnel will be working throughout late summer and into the fall to install separation equipment from SGM Magnetics Corp., Anaheim, Calif., which will include eddy current and sensor sorting units. Other investments being made include a trommel screen and in shredding system controls from Riverside Engineering, San Antonio, Texas.
Craig Uhrig says All Recycling is working with its suppliers to have the newly upgraded system up and running in November.
