AllPrinterRecycling (APR), a Sacramento, California-based company that processes all types of document creation and management equipment from other e-scrap companies around the U.S., destroying data, tracking the origin of every asset and creating final disposition reports identifying all downstream outlets, has acquired Atlanta-based Hensley Industries.

According to APR, Cliff Hensley started his namesake company in 1985 and has offered IT equipment disposal, data destruction and remarketing services to hospitals and other medical facilities for almost 40 years. APR adds that the new entity will operate from a two-acre facility in Centre, Alabama, which will be dedicated exclusively to medical equipment.

“We are excited to join with APR and access their nationwide facilities and R2 certification, which will allow us to expand our services in scope and geography,” Cliff Hensley says.

APR founder and President James Wood says Hensley brings decades of medical contacts a whole new level of business through APR. “The Centre, Alabama, building dedicated to servicing our medical clients allows us to keep this type of equipment separate from the millions of pounds of printers, copiers, scanners and other IT equipment we process at our other facilities,” he adds.

Founded by Wood in 2008, APR specializes in the collection and disposal of end-of-life printers and is supported by a process of product evaluation and value with end-to-end tracking to industry R2v3 standards.
