Aluminum producer Aleris, Beachwood, Ohio, has expanded and relocated its Shanghai office, which is the headquarters for Aleris (Shanghai) Trading Co. Ltd. The Shanghai office serves as Aleris' corporate office in the Asia-Pacific region.
Citing increased business, the company also opened a new sales office in Beijing to serve its customers in northern China. Aleris Trading Co.’s Beijing office is at the Central International Trade Centre on Jianguomenwai Ave.
"The growth of our current business in China dictated the need for more office space,” says Roeland Baan, Aleris’ executive vice president and CEO for Europe and Asia. “These new offices also provide a base from which to implement our plans for future growth in the region."
