Novelis has chosen Atlanta as the site of its global executive headquarters. The newly created rolled products company is expected to be spun-off by Canadian-based Alcan Inc. at the end of this year. The headquarters facility is expected to be complete by this coming March.
Along with the headquarters, Novelis will have two facilities currently operating in Georgia: one is a recycling center in Greensboro, Ga. and the other is a foil sales office in LaGrange, Ga.
The parent company, Alcan Inc. is headquartered in Montreal, Canada with a U.S. headquarters in Cleveland, Ohio.
