Albuquerque Iron & Metal, Albuquerque, N.M., has purchased an LSI Air-Less Metal Sorting Machine Model MST 1600-S-SS from equipment supplier Henry A. Wiltschek Inc., Stoney Creek, Ontario, Canada.
According to Henry Wiltschek, the sorting system includes a secondary mounted Metal Sorting Machine, designed to eliminate the need to send the same load of nonferrous metals for a second pass through the system to sort stainless steel.
Both units can sort and separate all varieties of metal, including nonferrous metals and stainless steel, according to Wiltschek.
