The recycling company Interseroh, based in Germany, has added to the services it offers at its operations in Italy. The new packaging related operation will help support customers to become compliant with Italian and European requirements for packaging recycling.
Roberto Magnaghi will be managing director of the Italian subsidiary. He has experience in issues such as packaging and environmental sustainability. He previously was director of the technical area of CONAI, the Italian packaging compliance scheme.
“New legal requirements, constantly evolving markets, protection of the environment – these are only a few of the issues that companies in Italy have to cope with in their everyday activities,” Magnaghi says. “Our new service will assist our business partners to efficiently manage aspects that do not pertain to their core business, but are, nevertheless, important. What we want is for our clients to reduce costs while they focus on what they do best.”
The ALBA Group started ISR Interseroh Italia S.r.l. in 2006. From its head office in Genoa, Italy, the company annually handles about 120,000 metric tons of recyclables per year.
