The Alameda County (California) Waste Management Authority (StopWaste) has released a request for proposals (RFP) for companies who are able to “provide waste reduction business assistance services” in the county, which includes the city of Oakland. The deadline for the proposal is March 21, 2014.
The purpose of the RFP is to identify firms or individuals who are able to work with the staff of StopWaste to provide waste reduction technical assistance services to Alameda County businesses and other generators of waste and recyclables.
Proposals responding to the solicitation may be submitted by a team, a partnership of consulting firms or individual(s) seeking to complete the scope of work, says StopWaste.
StopWaste says the successful consultant team will be selected based upon its qualifications and proposal to complete the scope of work.
