Akros Henschel Lands Two Contracts

Equipment company inks deals in Germany, China.

The German-based equipment company Akros Henschel GmbH announced that it has signed two contracts. The first contact is with the Chinese steelmaker WISCO, which has ordered the PTC 2175 baler. The system, which weighs more than 200 tons, produces bales of 75x60 cm section. It is scheduled for delivery this coming July. Wisco is the tenth largest steel company in the world.

The second contract is in Germany with the TSR group. Akros will supply two hydraulic sheers with a 1,000 metric ton capacity. One of the shears will be used in Berlin, while the second piece of equipment, the PTC 1440 baler, will be used in the automobile industry.
