The American Forest & Paper Association, Washington, D.C., has announced the deadline to submit entries for its 2012 Recycling Awards will be Feb. 10, 2012.
The annual awards program recognizes businesses, communities and schools throughout the country that have implemented new and innovative programs that increase the amount of paper being collected for recycling.
Winners in the different categories receive a $2,000 cash prize, a piece of original paper art and are promoted in local and national media outlets. Award descriptions, criteria, and entry forms are available at www.paperrecycles.org.
