The American Forest & Paper Association will host a teleconference to announce its partnership with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and its new 55 percent paper recovery goal.
The EPA partnership is designed to renew the paper industry's challenge to the American public to increase paper recovery and reduce the amount of paper in the nation's waste stream and landfills.
The teleconference will be held May 21.
Scheduled to speak at the teleconference include the following: Dana Arnold, senior program manager, office of the Federal Environmental Executive; Marianne Horinko, assistant administrator, Office of Solid Waste & Emergency Response for the EPA; W.
