Advanced Environmental Recycling Technologies Inc. announced that there will be a public hearing on August 14, by the Adair County Commissioners in Stilwell, Okla., to gather public comments concerning potential issuance of waste minimization industrial revenue bonds to be used to finance a plastic recycling and composite building material manufacturing facility for the company.
The Adair County Economic Development Commission, along with representatives of the State of Oklahoma and the Cherokee Nation, recently met with AERT to review project plans. The Adair County group unanimously voted to pursue discussions with AERT, the State of Oklahoma and related entities to help finance AERT's next recycling and manufacturing facility near Watts, Oklahoma. Finalization of project plans is subject to, among other items, receipt of regulatory approval.
