Advanced Environmental Recycling Technologies Inc. announced that a new production line is now operating at the company's Springdale, Ark., manufacturing facility. "Line 5" includes a high-output extruder and a high-capacity cooling line.
"We are pleased to further increase output to meet the growing customer demand for our products," said Chairman Joe G. Brooks. "This primarily completes the build-out of our Springdale North facility."
"Line 5, combined with the start-up of the Texas plant last month, now puts the Company's production capacity above first quarter levels," said Brooks. Additional production capacity will be coming on later in the year.
The company operates three manufacturing facilities in Springdale, Ark., Lowell, Ark., and Junction, Texas.
The company converts reclaimed plastic and wood fiber waste into Weyerhaeuser ChoiceDek(R) outdoor decking systems, MoistureShield(R) door and window components, and MoistureShield(R) CornerLoc(tm) exterior trim and fascia components.Latest from Recycling Today
