Advanced Environmental Recycling Technologies, based in Springdale, Ark., has received a contract to sell its deck building material at all Lowe’s home improvement stores nationwide.
Under terms of the agreement, Lowe’s has an exclusive contract to carry AERT's ChoiceDek line of deck-building material. Weyerhaeuser Co. will distribute the product to Lowe's locations around the country.
ChoiceDek is a composite building material made out of recycled waste wood and plastics. It has factories in Springdale and Junction, Texas, where wood and plastic waste are recycled into the materials.
