Advanced Environmental Recycling Technologies, Inc. has begun the construction of a new recycling plant in Watts, OK. AERT's new facility, funded and developed with the support of the Cherokee Nation and the State of Oklahoma, will reclaim post-industrial plastic materials for use in the company's building products.
The groundbreaking ceremony will take place March 14.
In addition to using secondary plastics to make its finished product, the facility has been designed for LEED certification.
