AERT Announces Facility Groundbreaking

Manufacturer of wood composites will soon start construction on new facility.

Advanced Environmental Recycling Technologies Inc., a leader in wood composite technology, announced today that it will hold a facility dedication and groundbreaking ceremony at its Springdale, Ark., recycling and composite manufacturing facility Monday, August 11, at 1:45 p.m. AERT will also announcing plans for additional facility construction at its adjoining 18-acre site on Huntsville Avenue in Springdale.

"This is another positive step forward for AERT, its customers and its shareholders," AERT Chairman Joe G. Brooks, said. "We are also honored and pleased to announce that United States Senator Mark Pryor will be joining us for this exciting event."

AERT operates four manufacturing facilities in Springdale, Ark.; Lowell, Ark.; Junction, Texas; and Alexandria, La. AERT converts reclaimed plastic and wood fiber waste into Weyerhaeuser ChoiceDek(R) outdoor decking systems, MoistureShield(R) door and window components, and MoistureShield(R) CornerLoc(tm) exterior trim and fascia components. AERT products are sold across North America. ChoiceDek(R) Premium decking is marketed exclusively through Lowe's Home Improvement Warehouses throughout the United States.
