Advanced Environmental Recycling Technologies Inc. announced that the company has acquired a storage mixing and blending facility on a 13.5-acre manufacturing site in Lowell, Ark.
The facility was previously owned and operated by Southwest By-products.
The company has commenced operations at the new facility and will begin implementing additional upgrades to the site as well as a plastic recycling operation, and a truck and rail car reload facility for its growing line of Weyerhaeuser ChoiceDek decking products.
AERT, established in 1989, manufactures a line of composite building materials from reclaimed plastic and wood fiber waste for certain specialized applications in the construction industry.
