The Woodlands, Texas-based Aegis Hedging Solutions has scheduled the second installment of a webcast series intended to provide information on metals hedging.
“Hedging can be a complicated topic; between learning the ins and outs of the process, planning the best hedge program for your situation, and assessing if it’s the right time to hedge, the process can feel overwhelming,” writes Aegis.
The company says staff members Matt Marshall and Patrick McCrann will lead the second installment of its series, on the topic, which will take place Thursday, March 24 at 2 p.m. (United States) Central Time.
In its second installment, Aegis says it will cover answers to questions including: What do goals look like for a hedging program?; How do you set hedging controls and policies?; and What preparation goes into starting a program?
Metals prices have been on an upward trend since COVID-19 restrictions began easing in mid-2020. This year, Russia’s invasion of Ukraine has introduced added volatility and added upward price pressure on most metals, including aluminum, copper and nickel.
Information on registering for the March 24 webcast can be found on this web page.
