Advanced Disposal, an integrated environmental services company headquartered in Ponte Verde, Florida, has promoted Jay Warzinski to the position of vice president of landfill operations.
Warzinski, with close to 30 years of environmental services industry experience, has served as director of landfill operations since 2013. He has led the successful negotiation of multiple gas-to-energy projects, as well as the development of policies and procedures of landfill management systems.
Prior to Advanced Disposal, Warzinski was a senior regional engineer with Veolia Environmental Services for more than 17 years, where he was responsible for landfill operations, technical support, permitting, site planning and capital expenditure projects.
“Advanced Disposal continues to grow its business strategically in all facets, and Jay’s promotion was a simple decision based upon his industry tenure, technical expertise, leadership abilities, strong work ethic and self-initiative,” says Randy Arnold, senior vice president of operations and landfills. “This is a natural progression in Jay’s career path, and I look forward to his continued contributions to our operations team.”
