Bill Pope has been appointed Southeast regional sales manager for recycling equipment specialist ADG Solutions, headquartered in Fairfield, Connecticut. He will work out of the company’s Tucker, Georgia, facility near Atlanta and will serve customers as far north as Tennessee and the Carolinas and west to the Mississippi River.
With more than 25 years of experience in sales, business development, logistics marketing, operations and management, Pope previously worked for ABC Polymers, a plastic scrap recycling and reprocessing company in Stone Mountain, Georgia.
“The Southeast is a booming market with lots of plastics processing and recycling activity,” Pope says. “I’m really excited to have this opportunity to help ADG Solutions grow in this region and provide customers with the best possible support and personal service.”
Sandy Guthrie, president of ADG Solutions, comments on Pope’s enthusiasm and passion for customer service. “Having Bill actively working in the Southeast U.S., we will be able to spend a lot more time in personal contact with customers—before, during and after the sale.”
ADG Solutions recently opened a testing and demonstration lab in its 10,000-square-foot Tucker plant, where the company also manufactures its new CFO continuous self-cleaning melt filter. Installed equipment includes mixing silos, weigh systems and related material handling systems.
From scrap to pellet, ADG Solutions says it helps companies process hard-to-recycle plastic scrap from industrial, commercial and postconsumer sources. The company engineers custom systems, including washing, size reduction, densifying, extrusion, filtration, pelletizing and material handling equipment.
