Action Carting Environmental Services Inc., a Newark, N.J.-based waste management and recycling firm, has completed the acquisition of a number of Pnoenix-based Republic Services Inc.’s assets in New York City.
Assets that Action Carting has acquired include two transfer stations and 10 vehicles. The transfer stations are located in the boroughs of the Bronx and Brooklyn.
In announcing the completion of the deal, Ron Bergamini, Action Carting CEO, says the new facilities will strengthen the company’s business throughout New York City. "The addition of these critical assets, including two transfer stations and 10 vehicles, positions Action Carting to better serve our customers in the highly competitive and demanding New York City market.”
