Acme Refining Co., based in Chicago, has completed the acquisition of CTRER Inc., an Ohio-based electronics recycling firm.
In a press release announcing the deal, Acme Refining Co. says its services will range from the total destruction of electronic products or medical equipment to sales of salvaged equipment, harvested components and basic commodities.
Roger Gusloff, AcmeRefining Co. CFO, says, “Acme continues to provide new recycling solutions to our current customer base, while building new business units expanding our client list to hospitals, banks, property managers, academic institutions, law firms and just about any company who has the desire to responsibly recycle their electronics.”
According to a press release, Acme Refining Co. says itoperates a fleet of more than 200 trucks and has more than 400 employees. The company has eight locations, including five steel processing yards, a nonferrous metal warehouse, two electronics recycling facilities, a document destruction off-site shredding facility and a mechanics shop and welding facility.
