Abitibi-Consolidated, headquartered in Houston, has purchased its 3rd high-volume Bollegraaf baler for its Arlington, Tex., facility.
This HBC 140MR can bale more than 10,000 tons/month of old newspaper during a single shift operation. The HBC 140MR bale height has been specially designed to load out rail cars at maximum weight.
Arlington will also install a Bollegraaf HBT 1200/1600 6” chain inclining conveyor to feed material to the baler. The belt conveyor is excellent for heavy loads of paper, and cardboard, and available in a variety of widths.
