A&A Midwest, Las Vegas, was featured in a recent segment of the History Channel show "American Restoration". The episode, titled "Suds and Duds," included a visit to the A&A Midwest Recycling facility in Las Vegas by Ron Dale, brother of series' star Rick Dale, and Rick's son, Tyler.
The segment follows Ron and Tyler through the A&A Midwest Recycling scrap yard as they look in vain for a vintage motorcycle fender. During the visit, Tyler says to Ron, "Not only did I find the best scrap yard in Nevada, it's definitely the most organized too."
A&A Midwest has been collecting scrap metal for more than 50 years, and since 2004 has operated a scrap metal recycling business out of the company's Las Vegas headquarters. A&A Midwest says it is one of the largest scrap metal recyclers on the West Coast.
The episode originally aired Sept. 2, 2011, on the History Channel.
