A Shred Ahead, a Durham, North Carolina-based document destruction company, has acquired The Shred Guy, a family-owned shredding company serving the Houston area.
The Shred Guy has been offering on-site shredding services to residents and companies in and around Houston for many years. With a full range of capabilities and active participation in area communities, The Shred Guy is among the most visible and well-known shredding companies in central Texas, according to A Shred Ahead.
By acquiring The Shred Guy, A Shred Ahead is better able to serve the secure shredding needs of residential and commercial customers in and around Houston, the company says. The team at A Shred Ahead says it is confident it will continue to offer the same quality service and support that The Shred Guy's customers have grown to expect over the years.
"Our entire team here at A Shred Ahead is proud to have been able to acquire such a highly respected local shredding company in Houston," says Tom Hanlon, A Shred Ahead co-owner. "We are well-aware of the strong standing The Shred Guy has in their communities, and we are excited for the opportunity to continue their tradition of excellence there. All of us are excited to see what the future brings for us in central Texas."
Over the past decade, A Shred Ahead has grown from serving the paper shredding needs of customers in the Raleigh, North Carolina area, to one of the largest independent document destruction companies in the Southeast. A Shred Ahead now serves customers in 12 states throughout the southern United States.
