Less than one month after its release, 1-800-Recycling.com says that its “My Recycle List” is the top-rated app at Apples’ App store.
The application enables a user to quickly find recycling locations nearby that accept items the user selects from a list. The application enables the user to easily organize locations by adding them to a personalized list.
“We are extremely proud of the tremendous success of our ‘My Recycling List’ App,” says John Shegerian, chairman and CEO of Electronic Recyclers International (ERI), parent company of 1-800-Recycling.com. “That we’ve been so readily embraced by the population at large shows just how desperately people wanted and needed a simplification of the recycling process. Our App, like our 1-800-Recycling.com site and 1-800-Recycling interactive phone system, enables anyone anywhere to be an active part of the recycling process – whether at home or at work.”
