A duo of advanced UNTHA shredders boost efficiency and sustainability for Secure Recycling’s ITAD services.
This video showcases Secure Recycling, a leading electronics recycler and IT asset disposition (ITAD) provider based in Solon, Ohio, and its successful partnership with UNTHA America. Starting with the RS100 shredder in 2020, Secure Recycling has since expanded its shredding fleet with the high-capacity ZR2400W preshredder and XR3000C Mobil-e shredder to meet growing e-scrap processing demands.
These robust shredders have become the backbone of Secure Recycling’s operations, significantly reducing downtime and increasing throughput — achieving up to 7 metric tons per hour depending on material type. The ZR2400W enables processing of larger, heavier electronic components, while the XR3000C delivers approximately four times the throughput of the original RS100, all while maintaining consistent particle size for optimal resource recovery.
Designed for reliability and energy efficiency, UNTHA shredders support Secure Recycling’s long-term commitment to growth, environmental responsibility, and compliance as a RIOS-certified recycler. The video demonstrates how these advanced shredding technologies help Secure Recycling lower operational costs, minimize interruptions and open new market opportunities in the electronics recycling industry.
