The Recycling Metals Branch (CMRA) of the China Nonferrous Metals Industry Association (CNIA) will host the third edition of its Recycling Metals Spring Convention May 9-12 in Hanoi, Vietnam.
The event formerly was named the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) Recycling Metals International Conference.
CMRA has chosen the theme “Industrial Symbiosis, Sustainable Success” for the event, saying the aim of the conference is to gather global leaders in the nonferrous metals recycling sector to discuss policy trends, trade cooperation and the evolving landscape of the industry.
“The recycling metals industry is currently seeing a surge in global demand, driven by the automotive, electronics and new energy sectors,” the Beijing-based organization says, which has selected the JW Marriott Hanoi as the venue.
As it has in past events, the CMRA says it is arranging metals recycling facility site visits in or near the host city.
More information about the May event, including how to register, can be obtained by contacting the CMRA at cmra@chinacmra.org.
