Smurfit-Stone Corp. completed the bankruptcy reorganization of Florida Coast Paper Co., LLC, a joint venture owned by Stone Container and Four M Corp.
Florida Coast transferred to Stone all of its assets, consisting primarily of a 500,000 ton per year linerboard mill in Port St. Joe, Fla.
Smurfit-Stone does not plan to re-start the mill, which has been closed since August 1998.
