Smithers, an Akron, Ohio-based multinational provider of testing, consulting, information and compliance services, is undertaking a study to map the long-term future landscape of sustainable food packaging.
The company is asking industry professionals to take part in a survey on the topic to aid Smithers in its understanding of what the industry thinks sustainability in food packaging will look like in 2040 and what the implications for the packaging industry will be.
As part of the survey, participants will be asked to rank the likelihood and impact of future scenarios for sustainability in food packaging.
The company says the survey should only take 15 minutes to complete and all responses will remain anonymous.
The survey can be completed at www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/T2PCFWV.
Questions about the survey can be directed to enewton@smithers.com.
Smithers says it will provide all respondents with a free copy of the executive summary from its market report, “The Future of Paper vs Plastic Packaging to 2026.”
