Shared Logic announces rental program

RIMAS Rental Program lowers initial costs for new customers.

Holland, Ohio-based The Shared Logic Group Inc. has announced its RIMAS (Recycling Industry Management and Accounting System) rental program, which was designed as a way to keep initial costs low for prospective customers.

With the RIMAS rental program, customers get to use all of the same features of the full software program. Low monthly payments allow users the ability to comply with laws and increase efficiency without a significant initial investment. With a minimal commitment and little to no money down, the RIMAS Rental Program is affordable for any size yard and also can be cloud based, according to Shared Logic.

“Our rental program was designed to broaden our reach of clients,” says Perry Jacobs, president and CEO of Shared Logic . “With a rental program, prospective customers can try our software without a lengthy long-term commitment. This allows them to use our product and see firsthand the benefits it comes with. Depending on the size of the rental license, we also have the option to potentially host their software for them, eliminating any initial investment for a server.”

The Shared Logic Group was founded in 1982 and has been providing the recycling industry with accounting and management software solutions for more than 30 years. While the company’s offices are in a quiet part of northwest Ohio, its reach is nationwide, with more than 3,000 licensed users. The company says its staff is committed to providing not only a superior product but also leadership in customer service and training.

Since the introduction of RIMAS, the company says its products have expanded to meet the changing needs of a technology-driven marketplace and now include electronic document management and Web-based products. In addition to RIMAS, Shared Logic offers the following product expansions:

  • RIMAS MMC (equipment management costing);
  • RIMAS Online (online access for trading partners);
  • Trader Inquiry (dynamic access to company data); and
  • E-Doc Executive (electronic document storage and retrieval).

The Shared Logic Group also says it has created integrated equipment add-ons that have streamlined certain procedures required by the recycling industry. Recycling businesses and scrap yards now have the ability to capture signatures, fingerprints and information from drivers’ licences electronically with add-ons that work with the RIMAS NT/P entry programs.
