Genesis Names Sargents Equipment Dealer for Chicago Area

Genesis Attachments has named Sargents Equipment & Repair Service, South Chicago Heights, Ill., as its newest authorized dealer. Sargents will bring Genesis shears and grapples to customers throughout northern Illinois and several counties in northwestern Indiana.

Sargents Equipment & Repair Service has been involved in heavy equipment sales and rental for five years.

Don Davies, Sargents’ sales manager, says the fit between the two companies is very complimentary. “Since day one, we have focused our efforts on customer service, and Genesis is equally committed to that approach. The fact that our strengths are in the scrap recycling and demolition markets—two areas in which Genesis dominates attachment sales—will make for a nice pairing of our efforts.
