HSM Will Present New Products at IFAT Entsorga 2012
HSM GmbH + Co. KG, based in Frickingen, Germany, will present three new products for the recycling industry at IFAT Entsorga in Munich, to be held 7-11 May 2012. The manufacturer of baling presses, PET solutions, document shredders and cutting machines will present its new products in Hall C1, stand 329/428 at the trade fair.
Among the products promoted will be the new HSM VK 8818 R, an automatic channel baling press designed to be an energy-saving drive concept for professional disposal management or large industrial applications. Offering a pressing force of 100 kN, the press is suitable for a wide variety of materials, HSM says, such as cardboard, paper and foils, and can easily handle bulky material, DSD products, sorted waste material and substitute fuels. Bale dimensions and weights are designed to allow for efficient truck loading, the company says.
The company is also presenting its new PET CP 4988 crusher press combination, designed as an efficient PET recycling system that reduces the volume of empty PET bottles by up to 90 percent in one cycle and produces compact raw material bales. A dosing shaft ensures that the bottles are drawn in securely and achieves a throughput capacity of up to 4000 one-litre bottles per hour, the company says. The drainage system discharges all the residual fluid before pressing. Crushed bottles are compressed into raw material bales weighing up to 100 kg. A scraper system removes the compressed bottles from the crusher rollers.
The company will also present the latest addition to its vertical baling press product range, the V-Press 504, featuring a compact and robust design, low space requirements and easy installation, the company says. This entry-level model is designed to offer cost-effective disposal of packaging waste such as cardboard and foil. With a pressing force of 40 kN, up to six bales an hour can be compressed with a maximum weight of 50 kg, depending on material, the company says. The press features a Torsion Control System allowing the angle of the press ram to be continuously monitored, preventing one-sided loads. Those seeking mor more information can visit www.hsm.eu.
