4. Vecoplan HydroDyn washing technology. New from Vecoplan AG of Germany is HydroDyn washing technology for plastics, offering these capabilities, the company says:

  • combines shredding, washing and drying in a closed process
  • washing system allows purification of shredded, heavily soiled and materials such as film and packaging plastics
  • generates high purity output particles that can be added as regrind to secondary processes
  • generates energy via friction and uses the energy from the process for unprecedented energy efficiency
  • washing process does not require chemicals such as sodium hydroxide
