HARRIS HSO 4529 HORIZONTAL BALER

Harris, Peachtree City, Ga., has released its HSO 4529 horizontal baler. According to the company, the baler’s small footprint makes it ideal for tight spaces. The 50-horsepower model has an economy mode that shuts down one of the twin 25-horsepower motors to save energy. Blancco Ltd., based in Joensuu, Finland, has released Blancco Sparc Edition, which is a data erasure solution for Sparc servers and workstations. This equipment is usually used at data centers and by other organizations with mass data storage needs. Blancco Sparc edition is capable of simultaneously erasing up to 200 hard disks per server, according to Blancco. Once the data are erased, the application automatically generates a detailed report with hardware IT asset management information. It also detects serial numbers for follow-up purposes.
