NEW HOLLAND LOADER
New Holland offers the Super Boom skid-steer loader to give operators greater flexibility in recycling uses. Features include fewer electrical and hydraulic connections for greater reliability, and greater torque rise and more horsepower to tackle jobs such as lifting and handling large loads of aluminum cans and other recyclable materials.
The Super Boom is diesel powered and has noise reduction features such as an enclosed engine compartment and a low-noise exhaust system. The loader also comes with an Advanced Warning System to keep tabs on all major operating functions, and warns the operator if a system needs immediate attention or maintenance.
The New Holland loaders come in five different models, with 1,450 pounds to 2,200 pounds of lifting capacity, to meet a wide range of handling needs.
ADVANCE DRUM CRUSHER
Drum crushers from Advance Lifts Inc. are designed for heavy-duty service, long life, low maintenance and fast and easy servicing, according to the company. The crushers come with a 10-year warranty and feature a hydraulic valve manifold and a dual-speed hydraulic pump. The operator simply loads the drum, closes the door and presses the down button. When the drum is crushed, the cylinder returns to the retracted position. For added safety, all cylinder movement stops as soon as the door is opened.
SIERRA COMBO
Sierra International Machinery Inc. has introduced the new generation of its shear/baler/logger combination. The new 300-, 500- and 700-ton machines are now more energy efficient, have faster cycle times, more comfortable and insulated cabs, and come fully equipped. Complete assembly of the units and operational and maintenance training is provided by the company. Trained technicians will assemble the units.
