REM OSCAR SERIES CONVEYORS

Recycling Equipment Manufacturing Inc. (REM) is now offering large hinged steel belt and combination chain belt conveyors for paper, municipal solid waste and scrap applications. Known as the Oscar Series, the new conveyors are available in a variety of configurations. Components include Baldor motors, Dorris reducers, and a main frame constructed of heavy structural steel.

VERMEER BRUSH CHIPPER WITH LOADER

Vermeer Manufacturing Co. has introduced the BC 2000 brush chipper with a heavy-duty loader designed for high-volume tree chipping projects. The BC 2000 is powered by a six-cylinder, 200-horsepower Cummins engine. The drum-style chipper can handle up to 3,000 pounds and logs up to 7-1/2 feet in length and 20 inches in diameter.

B-TEK COIL SCALES

The BT-HI series of electronic coil scales is being marketed by B-TEK Inc. The BT-HI scales can come with flat decks, v-decks or with rails for coil transfer car weighing. Intended applications include the weighing of coil, pipe, plate, and in beam coil lines.

PTI RECLAIM SYSTEMS

Processing Technologies Inc. (PTI) is offering several systems for washing and re-processing plastic in several forms, including film, fluff, foam, fiber and rigid plastic. The Trident Series from PTI  includes ISW-3000, an intensive washing system for cleaning post-consumer and post-industrial plastic materials.

LANAIR WASTE OIL DISPOSAL SYSTEM

Lanair waste oil heaters are now available with a 195-gallon storage tank as part of a complete waste oil disposal system. The new system, known as the Lanair HI-140, includes a tank, fuel pump, filters, air compressor, and all fuel line fittings. Virtually any company that performs engine oil changes can save on oil disposal costs by correctly utilizing the system.
