Fuchs G-Series material handlers

German equipment manufacturer Fuchs, which is part of Connecticut-based Terex Corp., has unveiled its G-Series material handlers, the MHL340 and MHL350. The company says the new models combine greater efficiency with advanced digital integration. Additionally:
- the G-Series introduces a new display interface to the company’s material handling equipment, offering a live view of the work area and intuitive workflows
- the machines enable operators to control sensitivity, speed and joystick configurations to suit personal preferences
- operators can use the “Virtual Wall” feature to set height and reach limits directly via a display monitor
- both models are supported by a high-definition camera system with optional artificial intelligence-based person detection
- the MHL350 has been enhanced with an extended reach of up to 55 feet, 9 inches

Machinex Gateway platform

Plessisville, Quebec-based Machinex has introduced its online platform, Machinex Gateway, designed to streamline parts quote requests and maintenance processes for the company’s equipment. The Gateway platform is available to all Machinex customers and:
- features a three-dimensional viewer that allows users to rotate, isolate or adjust transparency on components, enabling one-click part selection directly to the cart
- allows customers to easily locate parts via the intuitive search bar, equipment list or serial number or to select them from the 3D model
- streamlines quote requests by allowing customers to add parts to a quote cart, with requests sent directly to the customer’s Machinex representative with all relevant part details included
- provides customers with access to key documentation, such as maintenance manuals, schematics, warranty details and step-by-step tutorials, all in one organized location
- allows users to track and review their past quote requests to maintain a complete parts and service history for their equipment
- promises continuous platform enhancements with new features

Lindemann NxtCut Wing shear

Germany-based Lindemann Metal Recycling has launched the NxtCut Wing, a presswing shear the company says is designed to deliver exceptional flexibility, high throughput and intelligent performance for demanding scrap operations. The new shear:
- is available to be ordered through Lindemann’s global sales network
- has a robust welded frame, a selectable cutting force of 800 or 1,000 tons and 6.2- or 8-meter (20- or 26-foot) bed lengths
- features a wing-type compression system for maximum throughput of up to 38 tons per hour
- includes Lindemann’s 400-bar hydraulic system for the highest efficiency and minimal oil use
- has a forged blade table and hardened supports for long-lasting precision
- comes with remote diagnostics and Industry 4.0 integration using the myLindemann platform
