Houston-based Mitsubishi Logisnext Americas, a segment of Japan-based Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Ltd., has introduced the FBC20Q-FBC40Q Series of forklift trucks to the North, Central and South American markets. The new forklifts:
- are designed for consistent uptime, reduced maintenance and improved affordability, enabling operators to tackle demanding applications with precision
- are powerful, energy-efficient and built to match the performance of traditional internal combustion engine-powered models
- allow operators to maneuver in tight aisles while delivering safe, reliable comfort through long shifts
- have lift capacities ranging from 4,000-8,000 pounds and lift heights up to 26 feet while offering passive sway control that is designed to provide stability at height
- feature a 100-degree turning radius to maximize maneuverability
- offer simplified battery maintenance and replacement as well as a comfortable operating compartment with precise power steering to reduce fatigue

Komatsu excavators

Chicago-based Komatsu America Corp. offers the PC365LC-11 excavator, which features a refreshed exterior design, an enhanced operator cab and several new standard and optional features. The PC365LC-11 excavator:
- features an electric swing motor that improves swing speeds and operational efficiency, reducing cycle times in multifunction applications and delivering up to a 15 percent increase in productivity
- has an ultracapacitor that stores an additional 70 electric horsepower for acceleration when the engine is in ultra-low idle for instantaneous power to the work equipment on demand, providing a hybrid power aspect to the machine reduces fuel consumption by up to 20 percent when in an ultra-low idle state, extending runtimes and lowering total cost of ownership
- provides for quick switching between attachments with accurate, preconfigured hydraulic settings tailored to each tool
- comes with a KomVision camera system that provides a real-time bird’s-eye view of the machine and its surroundings to help improve situational awareness

Versa Buckets

Versa Corp. LLC, Astoria, Oregon, offers its Versa Bucket, a specialized attachment for skid-steer loaders engineered for controlled gripping and streamlined material handling. The Versa Bucket:
- comes in sizes to fit skid-steer loaders, tractor loaders and wheel loaders
- features a heavy-duty steel jaw and gripping teeth designed to allow the operator to scrape and squeeze materials firmly and cleanly
- allows operators on tipping floors and other material reception areas to use the bucket’s edge to sweep and push material and to blend or homogenize mixed loads so that later separation equipment receives a more consistent feed
- can speed up presorting and removal of oversized or nonconforming items and bulky contaminants when used to feed hoppers for conveyors, shredders, balers, trommel screens and other equipment
- has a clam shell design that aids efficiency by not having to tip the bucket down to discharge material, allowing for a higher discharge height
