- feature base cross-tie channel construction with open face down for extra strength and durability and to prevent debris buildup have sides that extend past the hopper bottom for more strength
- come in two versions—standard, which ranges from ¼-yard to 5 yards, with capacities up to 6,000 pounds, and a heavy-duty design ranging in size from ¼-yard to 7 cubic yards, with capacities up to 7,000 pounds
- safely handle a wide variety of scrap materials, including wood, metal, paper, plastic, packaging scrap and more

Redesigned components on the Optima deliver full-speed performance and effortless integration into a wider range of recycling facilities. The Optima:
- delivers the same artificial intelligence technology as the original SamurAI model, but in a more compact design that can lower costs and installation time
- includes a robot cell mounted onto the conveyor
- can be installed in as quickly as one day
- features a more than 50 percent reduction in compressed air consumption compared with industry standards
- removes the need for daily maintenance
- has a redesigned vacuum system for consistent quality and longevity
